2010 Christmas Cards Revealed

They are finally up. You can check out the new Christmas Cards over at our design site Captured and Created. These cards are available for my photography clients and for other photographers around the globe. I do not sell current year sets to photogs within 100 miles of Fresno. This assures that my clients have a unique Christmas card that no one else has. I try my best to make sure that everyone picks a card that’s different which can be tricky. So it’s first come first serve on design once you have your photo shoot. If you see a design from any of our previous collections that you would like to use just let me know. If you don’t see anything you want to use we charge a $35 design fee to make your custom card. My card prices are on the website and they are included in the holiday packages.

If you are interested in still booking a fall shoot with me let me know which date works for you. I shoot on Thursdays unless by special appointment other arrangements are made. My weekends are pretty much booked but there is a lot we can do on the weekdays and nights. Appointments are booking up fast so don’t wait to long.

Baby Connor…3 days old

I hardly ever get to shoot a baby at 3 days old but when it’s your best friend…. there are some exceptions to the norm. Meet Baby Connor, he is pure perfection. #4 in the DeGroot family and what a wonderful surprise that he was a boy. Now this little Dairy Family is complete. I feel so fortunate to have this family as our closest friends and to do “life” along side of them. Congratulations to you guys. He’s a beautiful blessing!

A Fresh Look

New Website finally launched. The calender is up for fall and shows my availablility. New dates opening but a little heads up. I am reducing the amount of fall pictures I take this year. My little guy starts kindergarten and I have 3 destination weddings this fall. Combine those two things and I am busy. So If you want a fall date they will book up quickly. I am still posting pics on facebook and getting ready for my next workshop next wednesday (2 spots left). It’s been busy around here!

Urban Boys

I had fun with these 4 little boys. We headed to my old stomping grounds downtown. It’s was a great break from the fields and barns. Little boys are so much fun with all their laughter, flirtations, and shyness. Some of these boys I have been photographing since they were born. Time Flies!

This little sweetie was a dream. She slept through everything. We started this shoot on the porch and I realized I wasn’t quite content with the way it was going. In the middle of everthing dry and dead on the ranch I found one shade tree to escape under. I ended up loving the way it looked. Who knew dead grass could look so cool! Thank you Orlopp’s for inviting me into your home and your willingness to sit amongst the ants. She’s precious!

Summer 2010 CMP Client Workshop

This workshop is in the evening and at the home of my parents which many of you have been to. Food, drinks, and fun! We have a beautiful yard to work in and hopefully the heat will let up a little in the evening. If you have already attended a wokshop but would like to come back for a refresher the price for you is $60. (Bring your workbook) I am keeping the numbers to a minimum so sign up fast. Thanks

Hello everyone – It’s that time of the year where I purge my old photo shoots. I will be clearing out all these files and once that is done they will no longer be available …ever. If you are interested in purchasing the high resolution files for your own printing prices are below.

What do you do with a boy who’s name is …

ROMAN. This energetic boy isn’t one to sit still and look at the camera. So what do you do with a little boy who has tons of energy and dosn’t care to take pictures? Give him a cap and a sword! Fits his name to a tee. He recently had a new little brother enter his life so he was ready for some attention. So fun to watch him battle the bubbles and fight off the wheat. This little guy kept me on my toes. So Fun!

Many times when I book a newborn session I never know what I will walk into. These sessions are done in your homes and it’s my job to create beautiful images in your home. Well… sometimes that can be more of a challenge depending on the situation in the home. This may be one of the reasons I love newborns so much is becuase I like a challenge. This family was new to me as a client and I was so happy to photograph their new little Italian Stallion. It didn’t even scare them when I was disassembling their home or crawling all over their bed. Anything for that perfect light. Little Leo was a gem and big brother Roman was a crack up. Not to sure about the new little man of the house. Congratulations you guys!
